Madonna University inducts 76 Pharmacists

The faculty of Pharmacy, Madonna university, Elele marking their 7th oath-taking and induction ceremony, has presented 76 graduates
to the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN) after it had certified them fit both in character and learning.



The induction ceremony which was held in the Nursing Auditorium, Madonna University,Elele. The seventy-six about to be inducted graduates, were all in tears of joy, already seated in their glittering academic gowns as early as 10 a.m, when the program kick started.
Although, some of the female candidates, 32 in number came late for the occasion and were doom to face the penalty, only to be saved by the pleading of a Rev. Father.

It  was a day never to forget on the heart of parents, guardians, friends and the  2015 set. A carnival like arena, as well-wishers, friends and young inspiring pharmacy students in their troops of thousand stormed to witness the professional induction. The Induction ceremony was witnessed by the principal Officers of the university led by the Founder/Visitor,Very Rev. Prof. E.M.P Edeh Cssp OFR, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Chucks Ezedum, PCN Registrar, Pharm.N.A.E Mohammed,MPSN,FPSN, and term, Dean of Pharmacy Madonna university, Prof. C. Nze Aguwa,FPSN,FPC pharm, Registrar, Mr. C. A. Ezeh, HOD of pharmacetical microbiology Pharm. Onwudiwe, HOD of pharmacology Pharm. Zelinjo N. Igweze, Pharm. Obinna K. Okolo, and others

The PCN registrar, during the oath-taking and induction, advised the new pharmacists to be up and doing with the ethics which prescribed professional and moral responsibilities to patients, colleagues and employers.

He also advised, the graduates to be up and doing that the profession was not meant for pharmacist who would be late on attending to the needs of a patient, the life of the patients first
He added quoting his professor; One of my professors at Howard University was ford of telling usin those days that

 "He who knows not, and knows not that he knows is a fool. He who knows that he knows not, teach him, he will learn. He who knows and knows that he knows is wise and can perform."
